Understanding collocation English

English is the international language that is used by almost all countries in the world. Learning English is one way to get a job and a better future. In fact, a lot of jobs that require skills in English. Therefore, a lot of quick ways to learn English one is to understand what it is collocation.
definition of Collocation

Collocation is "a pair or group of words that are habitually juxtaposed" or two or more words that are often used together to form a unity of meaning. This combination for Native Speaker is not so strange because it is often used. For example, In English, collocation exemplified by "powerful engine", but never said the "strong engine", whereas the meaning of the powerful with the same strong. Similarly, the term "fast car" (a fast car or car racing), and never say with "quick car", but equally congruent with quick fast. If there is a question why it is so, the answer is none other than the "collocation".

Adverb + Adjective: completely satisfied (NOT downright satisfied)
Adjective + Noun: excruciating pain (NOT the excruciating joy)
Noun + Noun: a surge of anger (NOT a rush of anger)
Noun + Verb: lions roar (NOT lions shout)
Verb + Noun: commit suicide (NOT undertake suicide)
Expression with Verb + Preposition: burst into tears (NOT blow up I tears)
Verb + adverb: wave frantically (NOT wave feverishly)

Conclusion
Collocation is "a pair or group of words that are habitually juxtaposed" or two or more words that are often used together to form a unity of meaning. As a example : Draw a conclusion, draw your attention to. Sweet dreams (NOT Nice dreams).
In my opinion collocation is like a lingua franca, so just a particular word that exist not all word that have same meaning that use for.
